Feed Me - Little Cat Steps

Feed Me is back and the little sharp-teethed monster is ready to do some damage. Returning to mau5trap for the first time since last year’s acclaimed ‘Escape From Electric Mountain’ EP, he is armed with ‘Little Cat Steps’, a high-octane and powerful offering filled with all the twists and turns that make his productions so invigorating.
Emerging from the ether on a bed of warm piano chords and drifting arpeggios the track spirals slowly upwards, picking up a wave of distorted low end frequencies on its trajectory as Feed Me crafts a deep, evocative intro. As the winding synths dissipate back into thin air, he picks his moment to unleash the monster within, firing off a driving 4×4 beat and grinding bass lick while looping synths upwards to keep the energy at fever pitch. Taking things back down, Feed Me takes a u-turn in the latter part of the track as he dives into an epic collision of crashing half-time drums and soaring synths that provide a stunning ending to his latest concoction.
Debuting on deadmau5’s internationally revered mau5trap label back in 2008, Feed Me didn’t so much step on to the scene as stomp, and his unique brand of hard hitting, bass heavy electronica with a grin quickly caught the imagination of listeners worldwide. Honing his sound and style with a succession of acclaimed EPs, remixes and production credits that have showcased the versatility of his productions, the last couple of years have seen him bringing his high energy sound to ever increasing crowds of fans. With his state of the art live show ready to be unveiled, Feed Me is upping the stakes.

Hurley & Bolger - Rise of The Goons EP

Gangoon Dubz - Rise of The Goons is the labels fourth release, and follows up from Goonflex featuring Dubstep pioneer J Da Flex. Rise of the Goons is a 6 track EP showcasing the talents of Gangoon Dubz young guns - Hurley & Bolger, they kick off the EP with Sharpie showcasing Bolgers 1st of three very unique takes on bass music. This track is a complete bubbler and will have anybody in a rave throwing shapes! Next up is Killer; this one certainly reveals his influences of metal whilst still keeping it deep. Bad Habits is Bolgers last (but certainly not least) offering up a deep yet mellow roller to finish his trio. Our second half of the EP has Hurley kicking off the hinges with Bomb the Bass a rave-influenced intro to a name-fitting drop. Track 5 again has Hurley staying true to its appropriately named Monster; this monster of a track boasts Hurleys bass manipulation skills in this jump up style production. Finally Hurley lends his own vocals to Let me Go, closing with another guaranteed club smasher. Proving the youngest member of Gangoon Dubz is set for big things. DJ Support: Mista Jam, Skream, Benga, N-type, Dismantle, Jakes, Hatcha, Oris Jay, DJ Narrows, Rod Azlan, Stinkahbell, Kutz & Scratch Perverts.

Bare - Altitude EP

With Bare comes an assurance: perpetual uncertainty. Using an unorthodox fashion of production, Bare utilizes keen samples while also integrating heavy amounts of head throbbing bass in order to create what the dubstep world would label: a banger. However, Bare does not stop there. A true showman must not only be confident in his product, but also on how it is presented. With an emphasis on mob mentality with a hint of chaos, Bare gets the crowd going by showcasing his plethora of DJ skills and tricks that he accumulated throughout his career. Bare’s affinity for climatic buildups followed by heavy bass drops has not only captured the attention of many dubstep fans alike, but also his peers. Legendary dub names such as Excision and Borgore have used Bare’s undeniable “bangers” in their playlists and live sets. A force to be reckoned with, Bare has progressively moved up the ranks in the dubstep world and has cemented his place in the upper echelon of DJ’s worldwide

Force Majeure FT J-Trick & Kraymer

Force Majeure kicked it with Dirtyloud and Doctor Werewolf and now we’re bringing two of Sydney’s best to drop bombs on Perth; J-Trick and Kraymer.

J-Trick has achieved more in just two years of producing than most would dream of in a lifetime. After signing to massive labels (you know, just Diplo's Mad Decent) and gaining support from Afrojack, Chuckie, Diplo, Kissy Sellout, PeaceTreaty and so many more, this 21 year old is ready to blow the f*ck up. This is his first ever performance in Perth – catch him in a club before he starts headlining the big festivals.

Kraymer's story is as impressive. At only 24 he's signed to Will Bailey’s massive Simma Records and has gained support from Benny Benassi, MSTRKRFT, DJ Zinc, Far Too Loud and many more. After destroying Ambar last year for Force Majeure, he's ready to come back and do it again!

Supporting these heavyweights are newcomers Punchy & Juicy who are by no means novices and have the tunes to tear you a new one. Benny P is on warm-up duties bringing the trap ‘n bass sound he's getting a healthy reputation for. And the Force Majeure himself, Philly Blunt will be rounding things out.

Bring your game face and get ready to throw down!

Featuring: J-TRICK (Syd), KRAYMER (Syd), Philly Blunt, Punchy & Juicy, Benny P

ShockOne Chaos Theory Tour

Hailing from Perth the epicentre of the Australasian drum and bass scene, SHOCKONE aka Karl Thomas has proven he is one of the major talents in bass music today.

Big Ape Circus Showcase

Circus Records is the brainchild of Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E and Earl Falconer (of UB40 fame). Started in 2009 as a platform for Flux and Doctor P’s Dubstep productions, the label has grown quickly to become synonymous with top quality bass-driven music.
Circus’s mission is to throw away the conventions of the music industry and do things the way they think things should be done.
The conception of the label began in late 2008 when long-time friends Doctor P and Flux Pavilion discovered a newly emerging sound in the Dubstep scene. After producing a few tracks both guys were approached by a number of labels, but it seemed more logical to them to join forces and start a movement of their own….So, in the summer of 2009 Flux, P and Swan held a meeting of minds, and Circus was born!
It is with great pleasure BIG APE presents to you… The CIRCUS SHOWCASE featuring Record Label Boss - DOCTOR P, Cookie Monsta, Funtcase & Slum Dogz.
DOCTOR P
To make music is one thing, but to change the course of a genre is another! Doctor P is defiantly the leader of the new wave of wobbles and whomps in dubstep and goes against the normal ingredients needed. Sweet Shop set the benchmark for others to follow as this doctors surgical dissection of dub step music leaves people wanting more than just the doctors diagonsis!
COOKIE MONSTA
Cookie goes deeper than underground and refuses to let anything stand in his way. Some of the most ear penetrating dub step has been created by this monster and has people reeling in agony as his bass lines leave spinal columns shaking! This prince of darkness has no morals when bringing his sound to the masses and will not be toning it down anytime soon.
FUNTCASE
Twisted? Warped? Disgusting? No matter how you describe the filth monger you can always guarantee one thing: This man will make you bounce until you can't stand still! One of the most entertaining DJ's within the industry and the producer of some of the most dirtiest dubstep known to man kind, Funtcase is by no means politically correct!
SLUM DOGZ
The creators of 'Slum & Bass', 'Slum Step' and anything else related, this trio of electronically music heavyweights come together to bring you some of the most uplifting rhythms you will ever hear to keep a dance floor jumping. In an age where moody is the cool, Slum Dogz are shining the light for the good time music. The Dogz are leading the way in the animal kingdom and biting their way to the top of the food chain.

Emalkay - Bring It Down (Official Video)

Here’s the official video for Emalkay’s track “Bring It Down”. This video starts off with two women standing in a church with gas masks on which suits the build up of this track. As they walk outside their world has collapsed and throughout the video it seems the two women are remembering the soldiers, people, governments and natural disasters that made this happen. This video is one of my personal favourites so be sure to watch and support! The track is also available for FREE download here: http://emailunlock.com/emalkay/bring-it-down
